Families who register their child in an infant or preschool swim class may register for a second swim class for the same child during the same
session and receive a 30% discount for the second class! The 30% discount applies to “non-prime time” classes held on weekdays between

Aquatics Makeup Policy:
The Aquatics Department will provide up to 2 make-up classes per session per participant for any missed classes. This applies to any class missed due to personal reasons or illness. No additional credits will be issued. Make-ups will be provided during our session break week and will not necessarily be offered at the exact day and time as your current class. Participants may attend two of the provided make-ups.
For Summer 2018: Due to the shortened session makeups are limited to one makeup during the entire 8-week summer. All makeups have to be scheduled through Amy D’Andrea.
Contact Amy D’Andrea to schedule your makeup. Extended illness will require a doctor’s note and result in online credit. Pool closure/ weather cancellations will be made up as usual.
Stage A: Water Discovery (Shrimp, 6-12 months) • View Class Times & Fees
This is an introduction to the aquatic environment for parents and their children. The parents will learn basic aquatic safety and will be given an opportunity to bond with their child. This is a water adjustment class to teach baby to enjoy the pool environment. The children will be taught basic water skills such as kicking, breath control and body control (balance).
Stage B: Water Exploration (Perch, 13-36 months) • View Class Times & Fees
This class is designed to build on the skills from the Shrimp/Kippers level and to encourage the children’s growing, but limited independence in the water. The children will be encouraged to make intended movements, such as kicking and paddling, in response to verbal and visual cues. Parents and children will have the opportunity to share common experiences, to socialize and to interact with one another. If the child is close to 3 years of age, the instructor will begin to prepare them for the pre-school level program.
Water Readiness Parent/Child to Preschool Bridge Class (ages 2-3 years) • View Class Times & Fees
This new exciting program is intended for children who have participated in Parent/Child classes and are beginning to swim independently either with or without the use of flotation aid. This class will gradually progress from parent/Child to child only to help your child transition into our Preschool drop off swim program. This is a skill based class similar to Water Acclimation Stage One in the Preschool Swim Program.
Gym & Swim, Fall – Spring Ages 12 months -5 years • View Class Times & Fees
The class consists of 30 minutes of developmentally appropriate movement and exercise and 30 minutes of swimming lessons. This program is designed to develop your child’s gross motor skills. The class consists of 30 minutes in a gymnastics environment and 30 minutes of swimming lessons. Class time includes 15 minutes of transition time.
