Spring 2018 Session Dates: March 12 – June 10

Junior Volley Ball

For beginners and the experienced. This level will emphasize the basic fundamentals skills of volleyball. Athletes will learn how to pass, set, spike, dig, and serve. Progressive drills and mini-games will be used to help give athletes a better understanding of volleyball. This level will help prepare athletes planning to play competitively at the high school level and for those who just want to learn the sport. All activities will focus on developing confidence and skill while promoting enjoyment of the sport.

Our Junior Program will be led by Erin McHugh. Erin played volleyball locally at Stamford High school where she was voted team captain, All-FCIAC, and All-State. She went on to play at Divison 1 Long Island University again being voted team captain and ALL-NEC. Erin still continues to play competitively in multiple adult leagues. **SPACE IS LIMITED**

Registration begins February 15 for members and February 22 for non-members
Class runs Monday nights from 5:30 -7:30 pm, March 19 – May 14 ( no class during April break)
Fees: Members: Members, $175; Non-members, $225

Senior Elite Volleyball

Led by Darien High School Volleyball coaches Laurie Larusso and Jeana Tighe Roche

Come learn the fundamentals of volleyball with the DHS coaches. The main focus will be TECHNIQUE and creating the foundation for the future stars of the high school program! All aspects of the game will be taught including hitting, passing, and setting. **SPACE IS LIMITED**

Class runs Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:30 – 7:30 pm at the Darien High School Main Gym
Programs runs: March 20 – May 17 ( 8 weeks, no class over April vacation)
Fee: Y Members: $350, Non-members $400
