The Darien YMCA Summer Day Camp offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of various age groups and the interests of all it’s participants. Our Pre-School Camp activities are held at the YMCA site. The School-Age Camp is located at one of the local elementary schools and children are shuttled to the YMCA for various activities. Afternoon Navigators is offered as an extension to the Gymnastics Camp, as well as a great program for children attending Summer School and children who are interested in just an afternoon program.

The Darien YMCA Camp Staff believe that each summer activity not only teaches skills, but also teaches caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility; all values of the YMCA. The camp is organized and run by Darien YMCA professional directors. Summer staff members are carefully selected on the basis of their experience, qualifications and caring for children. We welcome children of all abilities.

Session 2   July 2 - July 13 (closed July 4th)

Come and train at the home of State, Regional and National champions. The Darien YMCA Gymnastics Camp is a great place for your school age child to learn a great variety of new skills. Whether your daughter attends gymnastics class weekly, or has just decided to try it for the first time, our camp has a program designed for all levels. “Children will be grouped by level on the first day of camp.”

Camp runs from 9:00 – 1:00 pm daily with a break for arts and crafts and lunch. Bring a bag lunch.

Gymnastics camp takes place at our offsite gymnastics facility in the Goodwives Shopping Center in Darien.

Extended Care
Care is offered prior to Gymnastic Camps beginning from 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM. All extended care payments are made through Automatic Credit Card payments at the end of each session.  No child may participate in Extended Care without an Credit Card Authorization form filled out.
