The Darien YMCA is pleased to announce “revive”, a 3-month, progressive health, and fitness program designed to transition cancer patients from treatment to a renewed stamina for day-to-day living.
Who is eligible?
Local residents who are currently undergoing or have undergone cancer treatment in the past year.
What does it entail?
A complimentary 3-month membership to the Darien Y, which includes access to our Wellness Center, pools, group fitness classes and other amenities. In addition, all participants will receive a 12 pack of 1-hour personal training sessions with one of our certified Cancer Exercise Specialist (CES) trainers.
How do I know if it’s the right fit for me?
All interested participants will meet with revive’s Integrative Medical Coach, who will complete an initial physical and medical history assessment to determine the best approach for the patient. The medical coach will be in contact with the participant throughout the 3 months.
